How did you get started tattooing?

I come from a very artsy family. I’ve always drawn and painted and created things for as long as I can remember.

I built my first tattoo machine from a disk man motor when I was 12 and started working in shops in 2015. Since then I’ve tattooed in 5 states.

What makes me love what I do is the people I get to meet, the connections made through the art, and time spent making it.

What is your collaborative process like? How do you work with the client to identify the right artwork for them?:

My focus is on creating tattoos that will age well and compliment the anatomy.

Tattoos are forever so I always provide the info and tools I have while creating an environment of open communication, so that my clients have the freedom to be open about what they want and what I can do to achieve it. My goal is that they leave my chair with a tattoo that they love.

How would you describe your style as an artist?

I would describe my style as illustrative pop culture tattoos.

I specialize in bold bright color. My most requested and most enjoyed genre is cartoons and nostalgia.

I love the weird/unique/nerdy/niche references. I also pride myself in tattooing in color on all skin tones especially for clients who have previously been told color won’t work on their skin.

What are you up to when not tattooing?

I am a huge nerd, too many fandoms and special interests to list off but top three would be South Park, A Song of Ice and Fire, and musical theatre. My tattoos have been featured in nerd fandom blogs and zine article.

In my free time outside of making art I can typically be found playing video games, watching standup comedy, or attending a drag show.
